The 1.3MWp solar plant has an annual generation capacity of 2GWh and will reduce their carbon emissions by 1,800 tonnes every year, which is equal to the carbon sequestered by just under 31,000 tree seedlings grown for 10 years.

One of the oldest HIV clinics in Rwanda with 150 employed staff.

There are over 98,000 health care facilities in Sub-Saharan Africa and only 28% of these facilities have access to reliable electricity.
This poses a great risk for vaccines that are temperature-sensitive and must be maintained between 2º-8ºC.
By switching to renewable energy for the reliable power supply needed to correctly store vaccines, the clinic can now provide life-savings treatment to 2,200 patients every month.

EDUCATION
Largest privately run university in Rwanda.

In Rwanda, limited access to electricity has greatly hampered the rollout ICT technology in its education sector.
By utilizing renewable energy, this university will provide clean electricity to its academic buildings, making smart classrooms a possibility. It will also power the adjacent sports facility, reaching up to 22,000 students every day.
